The engine test beds of I.S.P. GmbH are air-conditioned and equipped with up-to-date automation technology. The engine intake air can be controlled separately with regard to temperature and humidity. Asynchronous dynamometers of different capacities guarantee fully dynamic running conditions.

If required external access can be given to  the test bed control systems if required. So, the responsible test engineers are in a position to supervise the test bed data from their home office PC which enables them to technically support the shift personnel if needed.

Gasoline and diesel test fuels are stored in subterranean fuel tanks in order to maintain the quality of the fuels by excluding temperature changes. Some of the storage systems as well as the respective pipelines are made of V4A, especially for the use of special fuels.

Beside standard measurement devices I.S.P. is equipped with a 3-coordinate-measuring device for the measurement of engine parts with a precision of less than 1 µm.

Furthermore, several radiotracer measuring devices (RNT) can detect online wear of up to two parts in parallel with a precision of 1 Nanometer.
