Engine test benches
On behalf of national and international customers, we operate highly dynamic engine test benches of various power classes for the precise testing of combustion engines and components.
The modular infrastructure, modern automation and high-resolution measurement technology enable reproducible tests under realistic conditions.
The focus is on fuel and lubricant approvals (ACEA/CEC, OEM), emission tests, efficiency measurements and functional and endurance tests. In addition, we analyse wear, friction power, oil foaming and thermal behaviour throughout the entire engine environment.
Thanks to our flexible test bench architecture and standardised interfaces, benchmark tests, energy consumption analyses and material compatibility tests can also be efficiently integrated – for valid results throughout the entire development process. A wide range of reference fuels in underground tanks enables the operation of combustion engines with fuel qualities that are representative of various international markets. In addition, we have the necessary infrastructure to operate dedicated test benches with hydrogen for our customers’ development tasks.
