Physico-chemical analysis laboratory

Extensive physico-chemical laboratories are available for a broad analysis spectrum of fresh and used oils, greases, fuels as well as industrial and gear oils. With over 350 test methods according to DIN, EN, ISO, ASTM, CEC, GFC as well as OEM-specific procedures, we analyse in-house samples as well as external customer samples from the oil, additive, automotive and supplier industries. Our laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, are DAkkS-accredited according to ISO 17025 and are designed to meet the requirements of international standards.

In addition to standardised tests such as viscosity, IR spectroscopy or gas chromatography, we offer specialised investigations into electrical properties, tribological parameters, elastomer compatibility, oxidation behaviour or corrosion – also with regard to new requirements in the field of electromobility.

More than 60 laboratory employees impress with decades of experience in the field of customer-specific method development and comprehensive damage analysis for successful product approval, quality assurance as well as research and development.
