Rating and metrology
A wide range of dimensional equipment is available for engine parts measurement and evaluation. In addition to engine components that have been tested in our in-house engine and chassis dyno tests, customer supplied components can also be evaluated and measured as a service for ISP customers. Furthermore, ISP expert rating technicians offer training courses for new or confirmed raters and interested parties from industry. These can be held in specially equipped rooms with all necessary infrastructure such as evaluation booths and modern training technology.

- Surface measuring instruments for determining roughness and contours
- High-precision 3-coordinate measuring machines for measuring complex components such as piston rings, plain bearings or camshafts
- Measuring device for determining the tangential force of piston rings
