Vehicle emission testing

The rapidly growing legal and social requirements for lower exhaust emission levels and better fuel efficiency in the automotive sector are some of the key drivers for the development of new technologies. For this reason, the measurement of these parameters in a reproducible and legally compliant way is of particular importance and the conduction of such tests is an ISP core competence developed through years of experience. The state of the art, environmentally controlled, all-wheel emission chassis dynos provide a first-class technical environment for this. This makes it possible to carry out emissions, fuel consumption and energy range tests on passenger cars, motorcycles and light commercial vehicles. The emission chassis dynos meet the requirements of the WLTP 2nd-Act legislation and are accredited according to DIN EN ISO 17025:2018 DAkkS (NEDC, WLTP, WLTP 2nd-Act – each type I testing @ 23 °C).

Equipment

  • Two 4WD emission chassis dynos with pre-test conditioning area for 40 vehicles
  • State-of-the-art HORIBA exhaust gas measurement technology for measurements according to WLTP 2nd-Act
